That’s my friend Barb and I yukking it up at the Schubert Theater during intermission of the musical We Will Rock You featuring the music of Queen and Freddie Mercury.
It was a fantastic evening, and if you ever have a chance to check out the show, I highly recommend it. Thin plot, but loads of fun and energy (and musical references).
There was a moment in the middle of the show where I had a profound and intense wave of gratitude go through my body.
Ever have those moments?
It was almost like an out of body experience. I offered a prayer of thanks for EVERYTHING…the good as well as the crap (and there’s always plenty of both!)
The last week has been immensely fulfilling and fun, yet there have been intense moments of loss and sadness as well. We learned of the passing of our friend Paul (whom we first saw the Queen show with in London a decade ago), as well as the sudden passing of a classmate’s adorable five year old daughter. Heartbreaking. But this is not about those losses.
It is about being completely present and in love with each moment, knowing that you are ENOUGH and you have ALL YOU NEED at this every second.
THAT belief is enough to ROCK YOUR WORLD. Freddie would be proud.
