￼Is there a story that you keep telling yourself that has kept you stuck in a rut?
By keeping our attention on what we don’t want, we just create more of it. This is the best way to keep something undesirable alive and present in our life.
One of my priorities this summer is healing.
One part of this is healing my throat. Every morning when I wake up my first thought is “is it still bad?” Then a stream of thoughts begin….why isn’t it better..what am I doing wrong…why aren’t these treatments working…and so on. All my my thoughts and energy are channeled toward what I don’t want. I’m reinforcing that it is NOT good.
This makes it hard to change my reality.
What if I shifted my reality to: I’m on the path to healing….each day is a new opportunity to feel even better….I have all the tools and support I need to feel amazing.
Creating a new reality begins with your language and your focus.
