Last night a recorded a video about the business opportunity that I’m involved with. I absolutely LOVE helping others create businesses that support the vision they have for their lives. The operative word here is vision. Do you have a vision for your life?
I thought I’d share mine. It has helped me make choices about being an entrepreneur and the types of work I’ve chosen.
My vision…..
I am creating a life of adventure. I want to travel, visit new places explore different cultures, taste unique food, meet interesting people and live full out in bright vibrant colors. This includes continuous learning, and always being open and curious and trying new things.
I am designing a life of freedom. I want to work where I want, when I want, with whom I want. I want to wake when I’m done sleeping. I want to immerse myself in my work in whatever setting calls to me that day. I want to stop working when I choose and enjoy a balance of rest and play. I want to have financial freedom that allows me to be free of debt and choose ease. ….book a hotel room, take a cab, hire someone, outsource, whatever that might look like. Freedom to me is to live a life of design and choice.
I am cultivating a life of service. I want to generously contribute my time and money. I want to support causes close to my heart, help to right injustices that matter to me and (as my favorite quote says) “be the chance I want to see in the world.” (This is a flashback pic BTW of an adventure in India, where I worked with these wonderful kids).
I desire to leave a legacy. This does not mean building orphanages or schools (although those are admirable visions), but rather simply making a difference in the lives of others, building something that outlives me. This can be as simple as taking full responsibility for the energy I bring into the world each day and extending kindness and gratitude that makes a difference. Your beautiful spirit can definitely live on. For me, this also means creating community. Building relationships and making connections that go beyond myself.
So, yes, I’ve given this some thought.
Have you?
I am blessed to get to do this through my entrepreneurial efforts, but you don’t have to be an entrepreneur if that’s not your vision.
What do you want your life to look like?
PS I’m looking for two committed (minimum 10 hours per week) and capable (open to learning and following a proven model) to join my team, so if your vision includes running your own business, let’s talk.
