At the beginning of this month I shared my intention of creating pockets of peace and joy each day.
This is my way of trying to capture a little bit of the holiday spirit, even when I’m not really feeling it.
Two weeks in and so far I’ve managed to carve out something most days.
I resurrected my annual holiday trek to NYC to soak in the energy and decorations of Christmas, which was awesome.
But most of the time it’s something simple, like taking time to sit by my Christmas tree every day, either to read in the evenings, or to do my morning practice each morning.
