Yesterday was the birthday of one of my teachers and mentors, Patricia Moreno, the creator of intenSati. Sadly, Patricia passed away in January of 2022.
She created founded intenSati in 2002, melding the word “intention” with the Buddhist term “sati,” for mindfulness or awareness. intenSati was a workout that was right up my alley and I loved how she merged the spiritual and fitness worlds.
I first came to her work around 2006 when I purchased one of her DVDs. For years I dabbled in the practice and always attended her annual events in NYC.
In 2000 when we were all at home and virtual classes were offered, I began practicing more consistently with the community online.
Over the past three years it has become not only one of my staple workouts, but also a way of thinking and being.
I enjoy the physical aspect of the ‘workout’, but it is the mental practice, the understanding that we are conscious co-creators of our lives and our businesses, that has made the most profound impact.
Why am I writing about this today?
The many posts I saw from our community yesterday on Patricia’s birthday inspired me to share that in March I completed the intenSati Leader Training, and have spent the last few months finishing up the final requirements.
My intention is to weave this into my coaching practice, workshops and new group program as a tactical and transformational tool for change.
The practice, combined with my new program, will help you reduce overwhelm, release imposter syndrome, increase confidence and embody the success you desire.
I’ll be launching the rest of the details soon….but until then, remember:
You are powerful beyond measure!
