Even though the weather has been steaming hot here in CT I still enjoy my morning cuppa joe. Yes, I know iced coffee is a ‘thing’ now, but it’s just not the same for me.
However, ever since completing the Summer Detox, I keep forgetting to have coffee in the morning. Now, I was never a HUGE coffee drinker, but I always have my morning cup. During the detox, I got hooked on the Morning Elixir, which I still have some mornings. Then I’d be halfway to work when I realized I never had my coffee.
This has been an easy way to create a healthier habit. I’m not planning to give up coffee. I like the smell. And this time of year I like sitting on my patio sipping a cup in the morning after meditating. I’m all about balance, so what I really like is that I CHOOSE to have a cup when I feel like it. I don’t’ have to have it. That makes it even more enjoyable.
