A new month is upon us! I’m calling it ‘New-vember’ (okay I actually stole that from a friend), but it fits.
What will you cultivate this month?
I have been journaling about this lately, asking the question:
“What do I need?”
That reflection time helps me to have a clearer vision of what I need next.
There are a lot of things I know I “should” do.
Some are past habits that have fallen by the way side, like making my daily green juice.
Others are things I struggle with ever doing, like simply resting, no devices anywhere.
So for November I decided to make a list of all the things, the ones that gnaw at me in the back of my mind.
Though I use the word ‘should’, they are the habits that I know will support me in feeling my best. The routines, that when I do them, my body says ‘aaaaah, yes, thank you!’
To be clear, this list is not about improving myself.
It’s about nourishing, nurturing, resting, and caring for myself at the next level. I’m not looking to do any one thing for 21 days or bust out a 30 day challenge. Those can be great, but often either all by the way side, or after the allotted time are totally dropped.
Instead, Im committing to do something one thing off of that list each day this month – big or small. Not make it a full on habit, just a simple daily choice.
I’m calling my intention month “Glow Up,” as these practices help me to feel more radiant in my body and in my life.
I decided to share because accountability is key.
