One of the things I hear from clients regularly is that they wish they sought help sooner. 
I mean, we’re intelligent, capable women (and a few men), and we KNOW what we need to do (usually).
We just have to do it, darn it!
That’s how I felt about my closet clean out.
I’ve been decluttering for, well a decade now, and have hit a wall over the past few years. Items I swore that I’d wear someday continued to go back into the closet…and remain there, never leaving the hanger. This was compounded by the fact that I brought bags and bags of clothing home while cleaning out my mom’s closet. It was a bit much.
It’s been a bucket list item of mine to hire a stylist for years, but I continued to tell myself that I’ve been dressing myself for over fifty years and doing ok, so why pay for it. I can figure it out.
When I planned to replace the carpeting in my office and master bedroom (which includes the closet), I decided that the time had finally come.
I had to empty the closet anyway, so why not get an expert’s eye to guide me on what should go back in.
So, I hired Scarlett and we got to work. Four and a half hours and five Hefty bags later, I sighed a HUGE feeling of relief, grateful that I got help. Plus, she was able to put together a bunch of outfits for me in ways I had never thought of before. Another big win!
Why had I not gotten help sooner?
