Last month I started sharing some of my favorite things that I rely on to keep me healthy. Here are some of my February faves that have kept my energy and attitude soaring throughout this crazy weather.
1. Money: A Love Story by Kate Northrup – I chose this as my non fiction read this month (although I’m actually still reading it) mainly because I’m in the process of reinventing my business. This book is not just about finances. It’s about self worth, courage, abundance and empowerment. I know that to have whole health, my financial house, both my accounts and my attitude about them, have to be in order too.
2. Affirmations – So simple, yet so powerful. I use them for awhile, peter out, then start again and wonder why I ever stopped. Lately I’ve been honing this habit and it’s becoming second nature (hopefully I won’t fall off the wagon again). The cool thing about affirmations is that don’t they require ANY more time in your day to do them. I bet you already have a running monologue going on in your head (please don’t tell me it’s just me!) Might as well make that work in your favor. The one in the above photo is from Louise Hay and you can go to her Facebook page or check out any of her books for tons or good stuff on affirmations. Or check out her app 101 Power Thoughts
3. Morning elixir – I have done this every time I’ve detoxed, but now I’ve made it part of my morning routine. Quick and easy and helps to cleanse the liver, remove toxins, and flush fat form the body when you do it first thing in the morning before an empty stomach. I know people who use stevia in it so I included it as optional, but I’m a straight up organic raw honey gal myself.
4. MELT Method – Okay, probably not fair to include this on the list as it’s been my primary focus for work this month, however, it works! Not only have I loved delivering workshops to empower people to get out of pain, find more energy, release stress and feel great, I’ve also been enjoying the benefits myself. I haven’t slept this well in over a decade and many of my chronic pain issues, like plantar fasciitis and bursitis in my hip have all but evaporated! So, yes, MELT must make this month’s list (email me at info@interplayhealth.com if you want to learn more)
How about you? Do you have any fave resources or routines that you’ve relied on this month?
Spill, and share the joy!
