Breaking in the new digs

Blog Post

I’m finally breaking in the new suites at Halo!  Even though we’re not quite finished furnishing, I held a private MELT session there this week as well as the launch of my four week series, MELT by the Book.  That’s where I’ve been spending most of my time lately (and why I never got around to writing a blog or newsletter last week).

What I love about the concept is collaboration.  After I finished working with my client, I walked him over to meet Sung Pak from Bodymechanics.  Sung gave him a brief demo of his Biocored tool and some further insight on what might help this client on his road to healing.

I truly love collaboration.  I also like smart people who are experts in their field.  At Halo we’re creating a great synergy between local health and wellness practitioners and I’m excited to watch as we fill the spaces with like minded individuals.

For me collaboration is energizing.  It’s why my day goes so fast and what generates the passion I feel toward my work.  It reinforces to me that finding the right environment is key!

Take a look around your environments lately.  Do they lift you up?  Excite you?  And if not, how can you tweak your environment to bring more of what you want into your day?

How can you design the best environment for you that motivates you and brings out the best in you?

And by the way, if you’re in the health and wellness field, come collaborate with us at Halo!

PS  In case you hadn’t heard……Halo is a New Canaan, Connecticut-based collaborative community of select personal trainers, wellness experts and healing therapists that empowers people to lead healthier and more balanced lives. People of all ages can take advantage of individual and group fitness, educational programming, nutrition counseling, stress reduction, diagnostic technologies, healing therapies and life coaching – all without membership requirements. In addition to eleven studios and suites showcasing the best local talent, Halo features an organic café, fitness center, athletic store, public tennis club, locker rooms with towel service and covered parking. You can find Halo on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn or join the email distribution list at halostudios.com.
