2014 has been a spectacular year… here are a few of the random highlights, certainly not an exhaustive list, in no particular order:
Had an incredible grilled cheese from a Portland food truck
Hiked over eleven trails in CT and New York with a crazy fun group of cousins
Visited my grandfather to celebrate his 98th Birthday
Took up kickboxing (and teamed up with a kick a$$ workout partner who motivates me)
Learned to beatbox
Participated in breaking the Guinness World Record for longest yoga chain
Spent a week learning from the indomitable Sue Hitzman
Enjoyed a mini family reunion and very tasty burgers
Hosted Flat Stanley for a month
Had a Bloody Mary, at a Bloody Mary bar. Where else?
Joined the team of Halo to be a part of an exciting new wellness concept
Got fingerprinted. Twice.
Saw a bunch of awesome concerts and fun Broadway shows
Collaborated with a very cool chick to run two women’s retreats. Sparkly in fact.
Went up in a hot air balloon
Started doing lots of yoga
Studied connective tissue, fascia, fibroblasts, microvacules and many other things I never thought I’d be saying
Fitted a lot of people with reading glasses in Kakaleo, India
Tried real sushi for the first time
Began to experience and share the power of essential oils
Read 41 books
Saw the Taj Mahal at sunrise, walked barefoot on the marble and sat in mediation
Attended my 30th High School Reunion and realized how much I love these peeps
Had a massage every month (almost)
Wrote messages in the sand in Aruba
So often the small stuff is really the big stuff. Savor it all.
Blessings to all for a very Happy and Healthy New Year!
